The Appalachian College of Pharmacy recently celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of Certified Pharmacy Technicians. This group of eight students, representing Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia, has successfully completed a six-month online program that combined simulation, active learning, and practical lab experiences.

The program, offered through the Center, equips students with the skills needed to excel in the pharmacy field. The next cohort of pharmacy technician students is scheduled to graduate in June.
