Dr. Crystal Hunnicutt Inducted into AANA 2026 Class of Fellows

Dr. Crystal Hunnicutt has been inducted into the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology 2026 Class of Fellows, a distinction recognizing sustained contributions to the field of nurse anesthesiology.

Fellowship in the organization is awarded through a competitive selection process and honors individuals who demonstrate leadership, professional achievement, and commitment to advancing the profession.

Dr. Hunnicutt serves as Director of Southwest Operations for Virginia Commonwealth University’s Nurse Anesthesia program, which hosts a satellite program at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center. In this role, she supports the delivery of doctoral-level education and clinical training for students preparing to enter the field.

The program is part of the Center’s broader portfolio of healthcare education initiatives, which provide access to advanced training opportunities in Southwest Virginia.
