The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program is pleased to announce that it will offer up to four full scholarships for incoming students at the Abingdon site next year. Each scholarship covers full tuition and fees for the entire two years of the program and includes funding for textbooks, allowing students to complete their degree with minimal out of pocket expense.

Medical laboratory science is a critical and in-demand health care profession. Medical laboratory scientists perform complex testing on blood, tissue, and other body fluids, providing the data physicians rely on to diagnose, monitor, and treat disease.
