The Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center will host a free screening of Multiple Choice on March 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., inviting the community to explore a timely and thought-provoking conversation about the future of education in America.

Multiple Choice examines the long-standing “college for all” mindset and the unintended challenges it has created for students and families. Set in a Virginia community, the documentary highlights an innovative approach to education that places career-based learning at the center, not as a fallback option, but as a foundation for student success.
Through an inside look at Winchester’s Innovation Center, the film follows students as they explore career pathways, collaborate on real-world projects, and develop both traditional academic knowledge and new-economy skills. The result is an inspiring portrait of students finding purpose, confidence, and joy in their learning while preparing for prosperous futures.
This screening aligns with the Center’s mission to support education, workforce development, and innovative learning opportunities across Southwest Virginia. Community members, educators, students, and families are encouraged to attend and engage with the ideas presented in the film.
The event will take place in the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center’s Executive Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. Seats are limited. Reserve yours now by clicking here.
