Registration is now open for the K–5 STEM Academy at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center. The fall session will run from October 21 through November 18, with classes held on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Kindergarten students will dismiss at 7:15 p.m.

The academy introduces children to science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities designed to inspire curiosity and problem-solving skills. A $35 registration fee covers the full five-week camp.
