Jason McGlothlin is the Director of Admissions, Student Services and Alumni Affairs at the Appalachian College of Pharmacy. He joined ACP in 2011. Mr. McGlothlin is a Buchanan County native and a 1994 graduate of Council High School. He received his B.A. in Organizational Management from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, in 2004, and his MBA from King College in Bristol, TN, in 2008. Jason began his career in higher education in 2002 where he held the position of Senior Admissions Officer at the Appalachian School of Law.
Mr. McGlothlin resides at Rowe, Virginia with his wife, Melissa and furbaby Pixie. He is an avid photographer and specializes in portrait style photography. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, volunteering with multiple organizations within his community, spending time with family, and the beautiful outdoors of Southwest Virginia.

The first two years of the program can be completed in Abingdon at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center. The third year consists of clinical rotations, which your advisor will help arrange at a placement convenient to your location.
What is the class size?
Enrollment in the Center’s distance learning program is limited to 20 students, ensuring small class sizes and a personalized learning experience.
What are the prerequistes for applying?
