Navigating the Pandemic: Finding the Support and Resiliency to Cope

Overview:

The global pandemic has profoundly influenced all aspects of our lives. The associated challenges have resulted in a multitude of personal and professional impacts that will produce lasting consequences. Dealing with these daily challenges has taken a toll on our emotional, mental and physical beings. Work-life balance has been turned upside down by this unexpected societal challenge that shows little sign of disappearing anytime soon. Increased stress, financial challenges, strained relationships and loss of normality are just a few examples of how we have been impacted. One way to productively make sense of our current situation is by coming together in a supportive, community setting. Radford University and the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center are partnering to offer a mini-retreat to rejuvenate working professionals impacted by the pandemic.
