high tech conference environment offers the meeting planner a skilled
and experienced group of individuals ready to assist you with your technology

Technology and Services
Knowledgeable and resourceful Technical Support
Staff for computer,
network, and audio/visual support.
Gigabit Ethernet Network, including 802.11a,b,g
wireless access throughout the facility.
High Speed Internet access for web-surfing,
videoconferencing, and other internet applications. The network is
comprised of a 10/100/1000 Mbps switched Ethernet network in an
"extended star" topology, with over 1000 data drops. This is connected
to the Internet via a 45Mbps DS3 connection.
Videoconferencing using
multiple protocols. Through the use of a video gateway and a CSU/DSU,
interconnectivity is provided between the data and telecommunications
networks to allow for high-speed videoconferencing via
IP (H.323), and/or ISDN (H.320). 14 classrooms & conference
spaces are equipped with fixed or portable videoconferencing systems.
Systems include Tandberg, VTEL, Polycom, and Aethra.
SVETN Network Classroom. This is a dedicated video
network, providing continuous presence and full-motion Video. 45+ sites
on the network, including the region's high schools and community colleges.
CCTV system. The facility is wired throughout with coaxial cabling
to form a CCTV system. This "house" system has a high-tech
video-switching unit to allow audio & video inputs/outputs from
virtually any source, including internet video sources.
