NURS 762. Advanced Family Nursing I:
Management of Acute Illnesses.
Lecture 3
hours; 3 credits. Corequisites: NURS 658 (for
women’s health nurse practitioner students), 663,
664, and 665 (for family nurse practitioner
students). Prerequisites: NURS 661, 670, 671,
672, and 714. Focus is on acute health problems
in the primary care setting, including assessment
and management. Inclusion of geriatric content
relating to acute illnesses will be added.
