Geared toward men and women age 50 and older, classes at the College for Older Adults (“COA”) at the Higher Education Center provide opportunities to teach as well as learn. Students are encouraged to suggest classes, network with other students as well as instructors, and contribute to the enriching exchange of ideas that forms the wellspring of the classroom environment.
Classes at the COA are primarily held during the day. A sampling of courses includes:Shakespeare’s Plays in the Movies
Genealogy on the Internet
Marching to Good Health
Wild Flower Gardening
At the COA, lifelong learners meet new friends, gain from others’ life experiences, contribute by sharing their own experiences, and continue to stretch their capabilities. Come grow with us!
