Computer Lab Policies

• The Resource Lab is for Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center students and guests only.
• Any student or center guest that wishes to use the Lab must obtain an access card from the Information Desk in the front lobby.
• Each user must produce a valid driver’s license. Driver’s licenses will be securely held at the Information Desk until Access Cards are returned.
• Please respect fellow students by working as quietly as possible. Talking loudly is disturbing to students trying to take tests, etc.
• TOBACCO PRODUCTS, FOOD AND BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE COMPUTER LAB.
• THERE SHALL BE NO VIEWING OF PORNOGRAPIC OR VIOLENT WEBSITES.
• THERE SHALL BE NO DOWNLOADING OF ILLEGAL MATERIAL, MUSIC, VIDEO, ETC.
• Continued use of the computer lab by SVHEC students and guests is contingent upon following the conditions listed above.
