Caribbean Culinary Adventure Cruise Hosted by Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center

Ahoy there, foodies of all ages! The Caribbean Culinary Adventure Cruise is a foodie’s dream come true and is scheduled to sail on the Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas on November 22 – 30, 2014. The Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center and Cooking Along the Crooked Road are hosting an amazing eight night cruising experience with unique culinary events both on board as well as on St. Marten, St. Kitts and Puerto Rico. A fourth port of call will be at Labadee, a private island, where guests will enjoy beautiful beaches and outdoor activities. Onboard private activities include a private wine tasting, specialty dining experience, galley tour and private cocktail party. Island culinary experiences have been custom designed and include private cooking classes and luncheons, market visits, organic farm tour, walking tours as well as a very special Thanksgiving in Old San Juan. Time for shopping and beaches are included.

The Caribbean Culinary Adventure Cruise package includes cruise fare, port charges, government taxes, as well as both onboard and island events. The package also includes the Ultimate Island Package in St. Martin, St. Kitts, and San Juan. An optional Pre-Cruise Package is available for those arriving the night before. Non-culinary rates are available for individuals not interested in the culinary excursions.
